Karl Lagerfield displayed Chanel through punk rock aesthetics. Platform creepers were the statement shoes of the season, shown in both suede slip-ons and liquid metallic laceups. In a turn for the sport side of the fashion world Karl  Lagerfield opted for  cap-toe high-top sneakers and  denim shorts suits.

At Bottega Veneta, Tomas Maier showed  the softer side of pre-spring. He used artist refernces such as Teipolo and Veronese to influence pastel palettes and floral prints. Maier made used of layered, monochromatic looks in luxe materials presented in head-to-toe bright colours such as  yellow, rose and mint green. Shoes was also part of the matching vision, with pointy toe pumps to match the outfit  making each look equally feminine.

Bright, bold colours were seen at many design houses such as Marc Jacobs, BCBG Max Azria and DNKY. Citrus and berry shades took to the catwalk on platform sandals to loafers.

Many Designers such as Missoni and Nicholas Kirkwood for Erdem took prints to another level. Erdem used custom prints on lady like silhouettes with  3-D floral embellishments covering a block heel. Marc Jacobs also played with oversized decoration on  platform sandals with jeweled buckles.
Dressing like a lady was in full flow at DNKY, where single-soled sandals in a pastel colours were teamed with the refined asthetic detail on the dress and at Yigal Azrouel,  suede and snake sandals showed  minimalism at its coolest.

That was a quick roundup of some of the hottest looks, more to come soon. I am really excited that Bold bright colours and chunky heels will be following us into next year!
